Recipe sites made me furious… so I built the app I always wanted

Every time I tried to cook something new, the same annoying thing happened:

Pop-ups, giant ads, 2,000-word personal stories, and then I still had to scroll forever just to see the actual ingredients.

I got so fed up that I built CleanCook — a clean iOS app that fixes exactly that.

Paste any recipe link (or use the Safari Share Extension) → get a beautiful, distraction-free recipe with just the ingredients and steps. No ads, no fluff, no nonsense.

What’s inside:

• Works amazingly well on Israeli sites (kerenagam, foody, mako, ronyohananov, krutit, goodlifetv…)

• Smart AI cleanup that understands Hebrew recipes

• Cooking Mode – screen stays on + big text so you don’t have to touch your phone with messy hands

• Automatic shopping list grouped by recipe

• Super clean dark mode

It’s my first real app. I’m a student building this on the side, and this is the first thing I’ve shipped that I actually use every week.
