The platform to order a home online, with solar and financing built in

by

Hey Product Hunt,

We built @ShikkeeOS because buying a home still feels absurd.

You’re expected to chase contractors, guess the real budget, pray timelines hold, deal with banks that underwrite chaos, and then keep feeding utility bills forever. Somehow this became normal.

We refused to accept it.

ShikkeeOS is our answer: a platform where you can configure and reserve a real home online, with fixed-price logic, built-in solar, and financing paths connected to the product from day one.

Our first product on the platform is Shikkee Iconic:

  • 2,153 sq ft flagship home

  • fixed-price architecture

  • 30-day on-site assembly cycle

  • smart-ready systems

  • full-home energy layer built into the ownership experience

What makes this different is that we’re not just selling a house. We’re building the ownership system around it:

  • product selection

  • energy layer

  • financing layer

  • lifecycle stack

So instead of buying into construction chaos, you buy into a controlled system.

We’ve already sold 6 homes in Israel as our pilot, all now in permit process, and used that market deliberately because it’s one of the hardest regulatory environments to stress-test in.

We’re here for sharp feedback on:

  1. Does the product page make the value instantly clear?

  2. Is the OS story compelling, or should we simplify it further?

  3. Which part feels strongest: the fixed-price home, the solar layer, or the finance layer?

Whoa, streamlining home buying with fixed-price configs, solar baked in, and financing from day one? That's huge!

The page makes the value super clear right off the bat...love the chaos-to-control framing. The OS story lands well, but simplifying the lifecycle stack pitch could make it even punchier. Fixed-price + solar layer feel like the killer combo to me.

If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon...AI-powered flashcard app with a browser extension that turns webpages into study material via spaced repetition. Would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" link in my profile).

@rianbrob Appreciate this—means a lot. You nailed it: fixed price + solar + financing isn’t a feature stack, it’s the unlock. The goal is turning a messy, multi-year process into something you just…execute.

Also agree on tightening the lifecycle pitch—that’s exactly where we’re pushing next.

The Sponge sounds sharp. Turning passive browsing into actual retention is a real problem worth solving. I’ll check it out and follow—good luck with the launch 🚀

The fixed-price home + built-in solar is the strongest hook that immediately solves two big homeowner headaches. You might highlight that benefit even earlier on the product page.

The OS concept is interesting, but simplifying the story around buying a home as easily as buying a product online could make the value clearer faster.
