We just launched our product 🚀 Here’s why we built it (and what we got wrong at first)
We started building AbroadHandy as a platform to connect applicants with student mentors from top universities.
But as we spoke to more applicants, we realized something important 👇
That connection is only one small part of a much bigger journey.
The real challenge isn’t just talking to mentors.
It’s empowering applicants to confidently manage the process themselves.
So we shifted our focus.
Today, we're building AbroadHandy to:
Empower applicants to handle 90% of the application process on their own
Provide structure, clarity, and confidence at every step
Keep a bridge open to student mentors for final reviews and human feedback
We believe most applicants already have what it takes.
They don’t need someone to do the work for them, they need the right tools, and a human touch at the end.
That’s the 10% that truly matters.
🚀 We’re excited to share AbroadHandy and learn from this community.
👉 What part of the application process for abroad universities do you find the most challenging?
