Would you trust an AI to choose your meditation or breathing practice for you?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the difference between AI as a recommendation engine vs. AI as an actual decision-maker in your wellness practice.
Most apps I’ve seen use “personalization” to mean: you filled out a goals form at signup. That’s it. Your state on day one defines every session you get on day 300.
The more interesting question to me is: what would it actually take to trust an AI to build your session from scratch, in real time, based on how you feel right now?
Not a playlist. Not a category filter. A complete session — breathing pattern, movement, soundscape — generated for this moment.
Is that more helpful? Or does it remove something important about the intentionality of choosing your own practice yourself?
Genuinely curious where this community lands.
