We built Unicorn.Dev to help anyone from anywhere in the world source high-quality tech talent at affordable prices, and help them do it fast! Through our journey of building CloudDevs, working closely with startups, and interviewing founders through the Founder Story podcast, we realized that there was an increasing demand in the startup landscape for cheaper alternatives for tech talent hiring. @alcaan Great great idea! Although I have 1 question for you - how do you ensure that the developer I hire is working productively / deep working every hour that I'm paying for? Do you have any integrations with good time tracking tools?

@alcaan @varun_kodnani really dude?! That's extreme micro-managing. You can tell the developer the min amount of hours you want them to work. Problem solved.

@varun_kodnani We use screen.io to track our devs' activity, such as the apps used and URLs being visited. This allows us to ensure that they're performing to their best ability and being productive.

My only gripe is what if the developer came from a FAANG company and moved up to Sr by his 3rd year -- is he/she unable to apply as a Unicorn Dev? Since you have a minimum of 5 years to be considered. In the Bay Area, Sr. level roles are considered 3+ yrs because the talent pool is so deep.
