Wasp-lang (Beta) - Develop web apps in React & Node.js with no boilerplate

Wasp is the fastest way to develop full-stack web apps in React & Node.js. Describe high-level features (auth, CRUD, async jobs, …) via a simple config language, and write the rest of your logic in React, Node.js and Prisma.

Finally!!! 🎉🎉 I was waiting for this! Can’t wait to give it a go! Are there any plans to add automate testing? E2E, unit or integration?
Martin Šošić
@zvonimir_sabljic1 unit tests will be coming soon, and then integration / e2e tests! Both will be almost certainly done via popular solutions like Jest and Cypress!
Zvonimir Sabljic
@martin_sosic That would be amazing!!! Can't imagine having automated tests since the init commit :D

This looks like a very neat product, I'm quite keen on trying it out! Keep up the good work. I believe Mark Twain said: "The man with a new idea is a crank until the idea succeeds." And I believe you are men.
Martin Šošić
@fran_sucic Yup, ain't nothin' to it but to do it :D!

This looks great! I’ve experienced the pain of the JS stack myself and this definitely looks like a step in the right direction. I’m excited to try it out and see what is the hype all about!

Awesome product, the web ecosystem really needs tools like this to simplify development. Is it possible to do authentication via email?
Martin Šošić
@mferencevic Thanks! Not yet, right now it is username + password, or Google. For email, we would also need to have resetting password via email, which means you need to a service for sending emails, so we punted on that one for Beta, until we can invest enough time into it to make sure it is easy to use! But it will certainly be coming for 1.0.

Nice! Love the docs, what did you use for those?
Martin Šošić
@matija_tolic1 Docusaurus! Sometimes it can be a bit annoying with hard to debug configuration errors, but it gets so much stuff done for you, it pays off. Also using Tailwind CSS for landing page.
