Is there a way to automatically add custom application data to tasks for AI prompts received through MCP? For example, user account details or subscription information?

Alex Malashkevych

@anush_bichakhchyan3Β Thanks for the question! Currently, this feature is not available. However, future releases will introduce a simple JavaScript API, allowing developers to configure automatic data transmission from their application to tasks. Once implemented, this data will be used for AI prompt generation and will also be accessible within the task view.

Looks like an awesome platform for enhancing the connection between user feedback and actually FIXING issues!

Congrats on the launch!

@dan_webvizio Congrats on the launch, Dan! Love how Webvizio is making a real difference in productivity. It's always exciting to see fresh ideas pushing the space forward. We’re building in the same productivity space, so this really resonates with me πŸ™Œ

Congratulations on the launch @Webvizio team!

Question for you:

What criteria did you use to select the recommended AI coding tools listed on your website for Webvizio?

Dan Ponomarenko

@shiv_panjwaniΒ Great question, Shiv!
The primary requirement for an AI agent working with Webvizio is the ability to interact with the entire project codebaseβ€”not just individual filesβ€”and ideally, autonomously apply changes. And, of course, in the case of MCP, the AI tool must support the MCP protocol.

We conducted testing to evaluate how effectively AI agents can independently identify the root cause of an issue, determine the necessary code modifications, and correctly fix bugs (replicating a developer’s approach). Many AI tools, when tasked with minor edits, tend to generate excessive code or include unnecessary dependencies when simple fixes would suffice.

Since Webvizio is a bug tracking tool, our testing focused on debugging and small enhancements. The AI agent must be capable of resolving minor tasks, fixing bugs with a high degree of autonomy, and working properly with the existing codebase.

This looks like a real upgrade for QA workflows. Curious if early teams are using it mainly for client feedback or internal dev handoffs?

Alex Malashkevych

@gaurav_bhattacharya1Β Thanks for the question!
Webvizio is powerful for both client-facing and internal projects. Web agencies love it for collaboration, as it allows their clients to leave feedback on public websites as guests, without needing to install an extension or register. Meanwhile, internal product and QA teams rely on it to streamline feedback and bug tracking, especially when developing more complex web applications.

Dima

Hi guys! Which AI coding tools are the best options?

Dan Ponomarenko

@dimamatΒ Thanks for the great question! Our top recommendations are IDE Cursor and Windsurf, both equipped with strong built-in AI agents and supporting the MCP protocol. The final results ultimately depend on your chosen AI tool and the specific LLM model used.

πŸ’‘ Bright idea

It’s like you gave your dev flow a jetpack. Webvizio lets non-tech teams click, comment, report bugs directly on live sites, auto-captures all the nerdy data, and even spits out AI-ready prompts for coding agents. It slashes feedback cycles and avoids the endless email ping-pong. Fix in seconds, not days.

Webvizio = Feedback β†’ Context β†’ AI prompt β†’ Code fix

It’s the full-stack dev-friendly feedback pipeline.

Dan Ponomarenko

@samderΒ Sounds great, Samder! Thank you for the suggestion!
