Congrats Tanay and team!! To those who may not have tried it yet - Flow is so thoughtfully designed and incredibly smooth (and this is coming from someone who used to rarely use voice-to-text in my day to day). Found myself coming back to Flow because it's way faster and picks up on my intonation and how I type. Love it and would recommend to anyone!

Man, I love it! I’m an heavily ASL (American Sign Language) user—my speech is not always clear but it still can understand most of my speech. 😳 I see so much potential in this new product! Just imagine this: Wouldn’t it be amazing if you and your team become the first people to make it possible for signers to translate what is being signed into text inputs? This idea would be one of the most difficult task anyone could work on. One sign can make a sentence and the very same sign has many different meanings. I do hope someone out there can make this possible for us because many deaf people besides myself are language deprived. It’s hard for us to communicate in English when our vocabulary/ grammar capacity is limited. This idea will be a huge step forward. Congrats on the launch, ya’ll! Looking forward to see how this new product evolves. 💜

Nicely designed product. When using it however, I'm having trouble getting it to play smoothly when I'm playing music in the background. I'm using AirPods max, and the transition to start listening to what I'm saying usually takes a few seconds and there's a lot of jankiness when the music starts again, and it sometimes doesn't. Have you got any tips to make this a little smoother? Also, I'm struggling to not cringe when I whisper to chat in the office, so I've only used it at home so far 😂

@jonnymiles Two recommendations: 1. Set your microphone to be your macbook mic (or anything that's USB connected) - then it won't interrupt your music! 2. If you are using the headphone mic, set "mute speakers while using flow" in the settings for a better experience. This is an issue with bluetooth headphones unfortunately. For the office -- whispering to the mac directly is pretty hard haha but if you get an external mic, I love this one: https://a.co/d/dQs3TX9. You can get super quiet, and it's not awkward!

@sahaj_garg2 thank you for the macbook mic tip, will try that out!

I think flow works amazingly, the best merits lie within how easy it is to use and generate text without thinking much about pronunciations, punctuations and any hiccups. It feels very natural. I typed this with flow :D

Game changer tool!
Constanza Hasselmann
@guillaume_duvernay We're glad you think so too. What's your favorite thing to use it for?
Guillaume Duvernay
@constanza_h Initially, writing everything I need to write. Then, I also edited texts thanks to the command mode. E.g. I ask it to rephrase and improve what I just typed.

I'm truly impressed with the concept and idea! Could you kindly inform me when it will be available for Windows?
Constanza Hasselmann
@tertius_van_schalkwyk In the works, but no release date yet. Thanks for your interest!
