I really enjoyed playing around with this! I liked how it could do almost everything I tested. Sometimes audio on different apps has trouble picking up what I say because I occasionally mumble or speak too fast but Wispr seemed to not encounter that problem much. It could recognize when my inflection indicated a question, pick up on abbreviations and short forms, and I liked the subtle changes to the UI when Im holding down the spacebar and the sheet of paper pops up + the purple shadow deepens + the opacity of other elements goes down. Feels really nice to use! The only thing I haven't figured out how to do yet is how to add emojis. My roommate was looking at me funny for repeating "colon D" and "colon close bracket" over and over out loud.
@hong_yu_wong Wispr is all about personalizing to your voice! Right now you can just say the emoji to have it transcribed, will def look into supporting seamless emoticon transcriptions!

Speaking the first draft makes my research discussion guides sound more natural, and I can write them faster!
@anamartinsg26 What other platforms have you tried it on?

The ease with which I'm updating my team now is amazing. Rare to be understood the first time round without having to go back or alter my pronunciation and Flow nailed it.
@runqiu Thanks Rinqiu! Let us know your favorite use cases :)

This is such a great use case for voice and making it easier to get your thoughts onto the screen! Curious about any explorations on how to edit inputs instead of doing it manually through typing 😮
@jacquelineguo7 Thanks Jacqueline!
We support two ways right now:
- Changing your mind mid-dictation. If you're doing a longer dictation with hands-free mode, and change your mind partway ("oh I meant 6pm, not 5pm"), we'll infer the edit for you
- Command mode: highlight the text you want to fix, and say "Hey Flow, fix xxx"
We're working on improving the voice editing experience to be even more seamless!

I've been using Flow daily for the last two weeks. I've tried a number of voice dictation tools, but Flow is my favorite so far.
I think the main reason I'm faster with Flow is that speaking uses some different neural circuit than typing for me. I don't feel as much need to go back and revise or obsess over every word.
I'll still type when every character counts, like a tweet or a published blog post. But every message and email at this point is Flow. Even this message is written with Flow. 🙂
@phantom_sam that's awesome -- glad to hear it. its a completely different circuit. we're working more on applications where every word counts as well. excited to hear your feedback as you keep using it.

Excited to be part of the journey that might actually kill the keyboard in personal computers ... At least in personal work spaces.
