How do you send quotes for jobs today: WhatsApp, Word, Excel or an app?

by•

I'm a carpenter in South Africa, and I built Yebo Invoices because my own quoting routine was slow: copy the client's WhatsApp message, retype it into a template at night, export a PDF, then chase the deposit.

I'm curious how other people who quote jobs handle it:

1. What do you use today to make and send quotes?

2. What's the slowest or most annoying step?

3. Do clients ever go quiet after a quote? What do you do then?

4. If you get paid by bank transfer, has a weekend delay ever held up a job?

Things I've found so far that might help you too:

- Typing a quote on a phone is slow. Speaking it and checking it is faster.

- A normal bank transfer sent on a weekend can take until Tuesday to reach another bank. Instant payment options like PayShap in South Africa arrive in minutes.

- A friendly reminder 2 days after a client says yes gets more deposits paid than waiting.

I'd love to hear what works for you, and what Yebo should do next.
