All your work in one place: docs, tasks, chat, AI and more

Alpine brings docs, tasks, and chat together in one app. See updates from across your company with an algorithmic feed. Work alongside AI agents that have complete context of everything you’re doing. Use alongside your current tools or replace them entirely.

Bringing docs, tasks, and chat together can remove a lot of context switching. In early testing, what part helped teams the most, the unified feed, working alongside AI agents, or just having everything in one place?

@yash_salvi Can I say all of the above? In our internal usage probably everything in one place takes the cake for most useful part of Alpine
@calebmer That makes sense. Reducing tool sprawl alone can already feel like a big win, even before teams fully lean into feeds or AI. Appreciate you sharing how it played out internally.

Hey @calebmer Congratulations on the launch! I definitely hate switching between Zoom, Slack, conferences, and all that other stuff too.
As a PM, I’m curious how you think about building an all-in-one workspace in a world where giants like Lark already exist. They’ve solved integration breadth extremely well: docs, tasks, chat, AI, workflows, even performance management.
So what’s the product philosophy difference with Alpine? Are you optimizing for depth over breadth, fewer but more opinionated workflows, or a fundamentally different way users interact with AI inside their daily work?
Alpine
@amberjolie Lark is pretty great. As a US citizen I unfortunately don't think it's getting adopted in the US because of the whole ByteDance thing (given how the government already wants to ban TikTok). So you can think of Alpine as Lark for the US market.
There is a big product philosophy difference though! Alpine aims to completely reimagine how people work. Alpine is async-first and heavily uses computers to organize content for you. When you get new comments on your post, the notification is delivered quietly. When you open Alpine, you're presented with an algorithmic feed.

This looks really compelling, especially the idea of having everything in one place with shared context for AI.
One question though: a lot of critical information in teams still lives outside tools — phone calls, meetings, quick verbal decisions. Is that “spoken” knowledge brought back into Alpine so it doesn’t get lost?
Alpine
@ddu The next product want to build is meeting notetaker (ala Granola) and long long term (5 years?) we want a video conferencing tool too. That's a lot of spoken data in Alpine then. As for verbal decisions we'll have to see how AI hardware develops and how to integrate that in too.
Congrats :)
For teams and agencies managing multiple client projects, are there plans for multi-workspace support (or similar features) in the near future? That would be a game-changer for us!
Alpine
@cathcorm We have a lot of ideas on how to make Alpine great for agencies managing multiple clients. I'd love to hop on a call and chat more about your use case. Send an email to contact@alpine.inc and let's find some time
@calebmer that would be lovely!! let me set that up by email :)
I just tried your product and really liked it.
One thing — I'm not a big fan of GPT. Is there an option to change the AI model being used?
Alpine
@voxdecaelo Not yet, but this is definitely something we'll build!
Does Alpine support a seamless import from Notion or Slack?
Alpine
@landy2 Not yet, but it's something we're going to work on.
Does it automatically prioritize notifications from people I collaborate with most in docs?
Alpine
@eric_wck657821 Yes it will! We don't have this heuristic today but it's a great idea and we have your social graph so would be easy to build.
