Hi there!
I seen you have dropped from paid credit to fully free... what made you drop the paywall instead of making it just more cheaper, and what did you have earn from that, not talking about money but goods for the app?

@matteorobella Hey Matteo, thanks for the comment! Cheaper would still mean a checkout standing between someone and a ten-minute task, and that was the part I didn't like. I'm a developer myself, and when you're about to ship an app you don't want to spend money on screenshots before you've made a dollar. So I dropped the paywall entirely. There are already some amazing free tools out there, and this is my way of giving something back to the community.
What I got out of it: a lot more people actually finishing an export, more community templates in the gallery, and way more feedback like yours. There's a support page if someone wants to chip in, but nothing is locked behind it.
I just tried it out and works quite well. Quite timely as well with everyone scrambling to get their mock ups ready for the duo, if only we could also fix everything as quickly on the development side of things. Also curious as to know the decision behind dropping the paywall ?

On the paywall: I'm a mobile app developer myself, and I know most people launching an app don't want to spend money before it's even out. Making it cheaper would still put a checkout in front of something that should take ten minutes. So I made it free for the community, no signup needed. There are lots of great free tools out there and this is my contribution back to community. If anything is missing for your set, tell me.

Quick one for anyone in the iPhone Duo scramble this week (Shawn mentioned it below): the Duo sizes App Store Connect asks for are in, cover and unfolded, since the day Apple published them. Pick the Duo frame, drop in your screens, export at the exact size. Here's a set open in the editor. If a size looks off, tell me here and I'll fix it today.

left a review above - going fully free with unlimited exports is a rare choice, most tools like this hold export hostage behind a paywall. what's missing for me: filtering the community templates by app category. scrolling a generic list to find something close to a fitness/finance layout was slower than just starting blank, which kind of defeats the point of a template shortcut.
