Hey Product Hunt! I m Yasser, one of the makers of ApplySeed
My co-founders and I wanted to raise money, so we started looking at accelerators and funding programs. We opened applications, started filling out forms and quickly noticed we were answering the same questions over and over again: describe your startup, what problem are you solving, who are your customers...
So we built ApplySeed.
We ended up building an agent that finds opportunities that fit your startup, prepares the answers from your profile, and fills out the applications for you. You review everything and send.

Are you planning on applying to any accelerators yourself soon?
ProdShort
@naimz Thank you Naim, would you use it?

Love seeing tools built around a real workflow pain instead of just another AI wrapper. Every accelerator asking the same questions in a slightly different format is such a time sink for founders, so having something that adapts your story for you instead of starting from scratch each time is genuinely useful. Congrats on shipping this!

@safi_amin Thanks so much Safi, really appreciate that 🙏 Application fatigue is exactly the thing we wanted to solve, glad that came through clearly.
Are you currently exploring any accelerators yourself, or is this more from watching other founders go through it?
Congrats on the launch guys, this is such a real problem you're tackling. I've applied to a few programs myself and every single time it's the same thing, rewrite your pitch, rewrite your traction, rewrite your ask, just worded slightly different each time. Feels like such a waste of energy that should go into actually building.
Love that you guys turned this from just a list into something that actually does the work with you. Wishing you a great launch day, rooting for you all 🙌🌱
ApplySeed
@yassine_soyy Thanks so much Yassine, really means a lot 🙏 You just described exactly why we built this, that rewriting fatigue is such a real drain on time and energy that should be going into the actual startup.
Have you got any accelerators you're currently eyeing or applying to?

The Yes/No per accelerator in the screenshot is the part I'd want to understand better - is that predicting fit based on public criteria and past cohorts, or is it actually getting a real answer back from someone at Sequoia/YC before you've applied? Those are very different products, and only one of them is something an accelerator would actually sign off on.
ApplySeed
@galdayan Great question, and fair to push on this. To be clear, it is the first one, we're predicting fit based on public eligibility criteria, stage, sector, past cohort patterns etc, not an actual answer from someone at Sequoia or YC before you apply. No accelerator is handing out real decisions pre-application, that would obviously be a different product entirely.
What we mean by "clear Yes or No" is really about the accelerator's own process once you do apply, several of these programs (YC, EF, etc) give you a definitive answer within a set timeframe, unlike a lot of investor conversations that just linger. We probably should tighten up that screenshot/copy so it's not ambiguous on that point, thanks for flagging it honestly.

@anas_chhilif that's the right distinction to make, and good instinct to fix the copy rather than leave it ambiguous - a bold claim that turns out to just mean "the accelerator itself replies fast" reads very differently once you know that upfront. predicted fit from public criteria is still genuinely useful, just a different product than "get an early yes." appreciate you being straight about it instead of letting the screenshot do the overselling.
