BabySea is the execution layer in front of inference providers for generative media. It standardizes execution into a unified API and schema, abstracting model and provider differences, translating requests, and routing them with built-in failover. Developers integrate once and can switch, combine, or upgrade models without changing their code.

Hey everyone π
I built BabySea after hitting what turned out to be the hardest part of building AI apps:
Even for the same capability, every model and every provider exposes a different interface.
I ended up writing adapters for everything.
It didnβt scale.
So I built BabySea.
One API
One schema
Automatic failover across providers
BabySea sits in front of providers and handles execution:
routes requests across providers
handles retries and failures
normalizes request/response
tracks cost and performance
If you're building with AI image/video models, Iβd love your feedback π
Happy to answer anything!
Switching models without changing code sounds super useful. Which providers are supported right now?

Hey Daniel, great question π
Right now BabySea supports 70+ models across inference providers like Replicate, Fal, BytePlus, Cloudflare, Black Forest Labs, and OpenAI.
The key thing is: you donβt integrate them individually.
You send one request using our unified schema, and BabySea handles:
provider-specific mapping
routing across providers
automatic failover if one goes down
You can also define your preferred provider order via:
and we handle the execution behind the scenes.

Curious, are you currently using multiple providers?
