BashBuddy
👋 Hey Hunters, today I'm presenting BashBuddy!
I was tired of having to remember arguments, or even typing them. Now, with BashBuddy, I can forget about that. I just type whatever I need, or a half-baked command, and the AI just creates it. 🔥
🤖 You can install BashBuddy CLI today. It is completely local and private. Everything is completely open-source.
☁️ If you want to use BashBuddy Cloud for near-instant command generation, feel free to try it using the "LAUNCH" promotional code for 50% OFF ($1 basically).

Very cool! How do you think this compares with other AI terminal tools like Warp and Wave terminal?

@curtastrophe Those aren't on vscode, that's the main reason

Very interesting family! I'm always getting back to Google to remember how that typical command that I barely use worked! +1

@claudiogonzalez That's the whole point of BashBuddy!
Congrats on launching BashBuddy! This solves a real pain point for developers and command line users. Love that it converts natural language into proper bash commands - no more frantically searching for syntax or arguments. Just last night I had to write bash commands to create a new AWS lambda layer, with I had this last night! Smart move offering both local and cloud options to fit different needs and performance requirements. Looking forward to seeing BashBuddy simplify command line work for both beginners and power users alike!
Looks like a great product.
HOWEVER, I would have thought that a Mac M3 with 16mb would have had enough grunt to run this locally.
