@dalrayes Hi Dalal, I know... we wanted to include it in Pro, however, it was a HUGE body or work with committed maintenance schedule to move our entire app from Electron to Muon (same framework as Brave) to support extensions. We couldn't see any other way to warrant the effort / cost, but also considered not doing it because of this... so in the end I'm glad we are able to deliver a new product that solves this big challenge of Chrome Extensions inside Shift. Further, we tried to provide deep discounting for our existing Pro users upgrading to Advanced.

I downloaded Mailplane 4 (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) several weeks ago and after the free trial ended, I knew I had to buy it, although I was not happy about having to pay $20 something bucks for an e-mail client. But I did it anyway and haven't looked back since. It's made my routine a lot more productive.
I saw Shift 2.0 on a Facebook ad and immediately clicked because I understood exactly what it was. I saw that it had whatsapp and slack, which mailplane doesn't, so I was definitely intersted. When I didn't see a pricing tab on their home page, I was like "Whoa and it's free?!"... Guess I should've known better.
I downloaded it and installed, only to find out I needed to shell out $99 a year to get all the functionality I was looking for. I immediately unistalled and revoked 3rd party access to it in my Gmail accounts.
If you're ok with having only your gmail, google calendar, google drive and google docs apps in one place, I'd definitely suggest giving Mailplane 4 a try. It's been worth every penny for me.
Pros:
Looks great, has all the right features.
Cons:
Pricing: what the ... ?

This looked like a great app. I say looked, as I've not been able to test any of its functionality. It's all locked until I pony up $100.
How much feedback will it take for Shift to realise their model isn't working? Uninstalling and won't bother recommending.
Hi, I just bought the advanced version and stumbled upon something that makes the app almost unusable for me: I use google authentication a lot, i have save passowrds with a password manager and use 2 factor whenever possible. I just found out, that i logged out of shift on every restart of the application or my laptop. and i need to login and 2 factor auth every-time on every application. Is this a bug or intended behaviour?
Also when using Google Single Sign-on is doen't work across application and i need to login on every app, even when using google auth....
Am i doing something wrong? Is this behaviour intended? can you refund me, if yes, because i can't use the app in this case.
Thanks
Fabio

I've been using Shift for quite some time now, and the new features in 2.0 make it a one-stop shop for integrating your essential tools.
Pros:
Integration of apps and extensions make Shift much more than an email tool
Cons:
I plead the 5th

I am a Shift Pro user, and was quite happy to pay $19.99 per year for it. I'm still quite happy to pay $29.99 per year. $99 is waaaaaayyyyy too expensive. To put that into perspective, that costs as much as a year of Dropbox Pro (1 TB of storage), twice as much as my financial program (YNAB), and more than Office 365! For basically a web broswer wrapper.
Roll the features from Advanced into Pro, charge no more than $29.99 per year and I'm in. Otherwise, I'm off to Station. It's a shame really, because I love this app. Just not enough to pay $8.33 per month.
Thanks, Chris! I am glad to hear we have you onboard as a Pro Shift'er. We've added a few nice features - Google Services and Notification Muting + 2.0 is really fast. Hope you can take advantage of a coupon code to upgrade, as we will prorate your current subscription. OR refer a few friends, and pay nothing!
