Right now as a Pro user I really enjoy the product and the original Pro price fell just within a reasonable cost. The new service price is quite a leap and not being able to even trial it makes me incredibly reluctant. If the product is as great as you're suggesting, your customers will have no problem paying the $99 after a trial period. If not, there is something wrong here.
Hi Charlie, glad you've enjoyed the Shift Pro experience; you won't be disappointed with the Pro 2.0 update (at no additional cost to you!); it really is faster and more streamlined than ever + you get Google Services, and custom Notification Muting in your current plan. Agreed, Advanced is a whole other tier. The features, and pricing, reflect that. We're building a sustainable business model behind it, and opening up as many options to enjoy the most popular features long-term.

Excellent UI/UX and idea but no way I am paying $99 for that. I think a decent price would be a one-time $29. Nice app though, good luck.
@emad_ibrahim Thanks for the feedback. We do have a completely free plan, as well as a Pro plan priced at $29.99/year, which might be of interest to you.

@tobyns I understand but the features I *need* are extensions and multiple accounts which means I need the top plan which is $99 per year. I understand the desire for recurring revenue - I want that too :)

would be nice if there was a trial period for pro or advanced. it's hard to get a feel for the app without being able to use it with my normal gmail extensions. otherwise the standard experience is like using a dumbed down browser.
@eli_katz thanks for the comment. At the core, Shift is all about accessing multiple accounts without opening up the browser (or multiple tabs!) at all. We have found that to be a major productivity killer for our customers. Our Basic plan allows you to do that, completely free. You might be interested in our referral plan if you'd like to test out Advanced and access your extensions, at no cost. (refer 5 friends = free Shift!).

Not like I'm complaining that it's not a freeware, but even the free version doesn't look that appealing. It's basically Gmail/Outlook inside an application container, something that someone with basic skills with JS/Electron can do (and which has been already done by Franz and some others).
And since there is no demo about the "Premium features", I don't know what the application can do. So yeah, removed it.
Pros:
Superb UI
Cons:
Not useful enough for the free version

Took them forever to add Chrome Extensions but now you have to pay extra for it as a current subscriber. Advanced price is crazy for something that force-closes/freezes on me daily.
Pros:
Nice gmail account switching
Cons:
Price is crazy

The UI looks nice but the pricing is way too much for an app that is just a container. Needing to pay to access extensions that are freely available on Firefox or Chrome and on other apps like Franz is just insane. I will be switching to Franz which is also open source and offers more features and I will also try Rambox to compare.
Pros:
Nice UI
Cons:
Pricing and lack of apps and extension in free version
If we increased costs of software and other goods and services, we could pay it to women, and help decrease the wage gap!
Pros:Great UI/UX, speedy, sleek, new hibernate mode should decrease battery-usage.
Cons:Not expensive enough. I've got money to burn, baby!
