This is a great app that anyone can install and use right away. I am 62 years old and I had the app up and running in minutes. I wish I was 20 years old and just beginning my Boid experience, the future is bright for Boid! Get the shades out!

I've been using boid for a little more than a month and LOVE it. Absolutely awesome platform. Being part of a good team is also part of the fun. Is there really any downside to helping the scientific community perform complex problems they wouldn't normally be able to do without the help of shared computing resources and getting a little something in return for it?

Pros:

Use any PC to give back to the scientific community. Windows setup is easy with 1 click. Linux app runs well on Ubuntu flavors.

Cons:

Seti@home should be a choice of projects. Windows app needs to auto-start on reboot. Linux app needs to support other distros than Ubuntu.

Honestly, BOID is just a really neat and slick system. Entering into the world of distributed computing has some barriers to entry. BOID makes it easy for anyone to get involved with a really easy user interface. From 0 to earning some BOID in under 5 minutes. One of my favorite applications in the space for pushing blockchain adoption while keeping things approachable, light and fun. Try it out, you won't regret it.

A passive income machine that is easy simple to set up, intuitive to use and understand, and most importantly, one helps make the world a better place. I really enjoy its friendly competitive nature of teams involved as well as the entire game theory behind the Boid concept. Check the website, join the Boid Telegram channel and try it out! Beware it's addictive!

BOID bridges the gap between requiring expert knowledge and new people to Crypto. It has a straightforward and easy to engage user interface that gets a machine up and running and mining scientific data in return for BOID. The App runs in the background on your computer or smartphone - either as a desktop version or web based version. The Desktop version is far better. You can also adjust manually how much of the CPU you want to engage. There is also an option to tell BOID to stop working if you are using your computer. When you stop, BOID kicks right back in, without any input from you. I have setup BOID on an old iMac and my Macbook. I leave it going 24/7 and it quietly works in the background. Highly recommend! :) John, Dan and the rest of the team have developed a kickass product. Thanks.
