Nicely done. I saw a preview of this last week and enjoyed reading it.
The lessons go beyond telescope sites as well. Building any community is hard and takes daily, if not hourly work encouraging engagement and commenting. Rarely do they spring fully developed.
We've been playing with telescope and other meteor projects recently. While its still very developer oriented, it's going to make the jump to a more commercial aspect soon.
