Beautiful site. Definitely a strong need for a start up that creates non hassle free DIY furniture.

We manufacture our products here in the USA. The majority of the work is done here in the bay area. Our headquarters is located in Emeryville, CA.
You couldn't be more correct. The first design is never the simplest. We've made countless iterations to come to the product design we've launched today. Entirely starting from a clean slate at least three different times over the course of 17 months. It was a commitment to move through the process of "Design, Engineer, Build, Test, & Repeat" as fast as we could and as many times as we could. We're really excited to ship this November.
As for future products? The sofa line will see some exciting additions and the rest of the living room is next :)

This is such a great concept! I am getting fed up by IKEA furniture because they they a while to disassemble if I need to move.

This is super exciting @bradsewell. I furnished my home 4 years ago and after moving, am back to refurnishing from scratch. And it's been 2 totally different experiences thanks to cool new options like yours! (Added this to my Furniture/design PH collection - http://www.producthunt.com/@amri...)
I imagine you'll offer free returns in addition to free shipping? One of the downsides with all of the online furniture solutions is that I can't see/touch unless I order (aka no showroom/b&r location). The free returns that many of the startups offer is really great, and it allows me to evaluate if my purchase was worth it when it arrives, weeks later. And then if I need to return, the return/refund process takes weeks again. Do you have plans to set up this furniture in physical locations anywhere? Maybe you could partner with other interior design startups. Put a chair/sofa in their offices in certain cities and have them take appointments from people who want to come check out Campaign furnishings (and pitch their own relevant service). Something along these lines would help avoid that one last pain point in online furniture shopping for folks like myself, while avoiding traditional showrooms.

How are the pre-orders going? I'm wondering if the price point isn't a bit high for what's on offer. Also, the style of sofa is uber modern and doesn't look insanely comfortable (which is a personal requirement in a sofa), did you A/B test styles before deciding to launch with this one?
Assemble in less than three minutes without tools, and it's insanely comfortable. I'm an investor, but before you give me the "obviously you're going to say that" stuff, know that I was super skeptical. I went to visit Brad and his team at their Oakland workshop, easily assembled the couch, then subsequently napped on it for the next hour.
I hate Ikea and yet I keep buying their stuff. There hasn't been a good looking, affordable alternative. Now there is. "Incredible quality and next level engineering / manufacturing = the new IKEA."
