Very cool tool, @kelseycbishop ! needed in this marketspace! as someone who has both hired for startups and joined ongoing startups, this will be something I will use a LOT. everyone is on their best behavior in an interview, but getting a real sense of the people you are looking to work with is tough- and I hope to see tools and scales on the tough-to-quantify stuff, like a scale that runs from "easy to get along with" up to "difficult to work with", and another scale for "how deals with problems, mistakes, errors". Maybe even a scale of "creates stress" up to "removes stress from stressful situations"... Looking forward to this; Kelsey is a product genius, and knows how to build- good luck!!

I love this idea! Working at a start up is an extremely exciting opportunity, but it can sometimes be a little bit nerve wracking entering an environment that you know nothing about. I'm so excited that Candor is going to bring to life the true start up experience - the good, the bad, the culture, in a way that no other platform has before.

I've worked with >100 startups from the early stages to pre-IPO. One of the biggest surprises I have run into is the difference between a companies brand/ability to recruit and their culture. I'm excited to see Candor address that problem by creating honesty and transparency for future employees. As someone who loves FinTech, I immediately thought of the term KYC (know your customer), an ethical requirement a customer must pass to provide them services. I can't help to think Candors is KYC for your next company...Know your company, know your culture..

Huge congratulations on launching, @kelseycbishop! As a coach, I'm excited not just for job hunters to have more transparency about the leaders for whom they may work, but for the possibility that Candor can instigate more interpersonal honesty in the workplace in general. It is the nature of blindspots not elude awareness, and leaders' blindspots cause problems. The existence of a product like Candor can inspire leaders to be kind, to become more aware of themselves, and to reconcile with their shadow, as reported by others who may see it more clearly than they. A public review forum that enables a full range of feedback, including negative, is naturally a bit hairy, but the possibility that Candor could shepherd Restorative Justice values into the workplace as part of the whole package is very enticing and very worth supporting.
