@bob_coletti I love how you ask questions about new users, who are they, what they use and so on. I believe it can help to treat customers better with more targeted approach. Speaking about Askpot, looks like we can be a potential customer of Cello. However, it looks like we need to invest more time to understand what we need to do to make it work. 5 minutes scrolling was not enough for me to come to a-ha moment

Thanks @thomas_fredrich, your search might be over 😎 We track and attribute referrals based on referral links and additionally with functional cookies. Coupon codes are on our backlog list but haven't been strongly requested by customers so far, though. Would coupon codes be important to you?

How do you handle payouts for people that refer my product? Do they need to have a Stripe account or do you offer payouts into other platforms like PayPal and crypto?

@kensavage Cello pays out via PayPal and Venmo in >30 countries - so your users don't need a Stripe account. Crypto payouts are a backlog item I'm also excited about. In the background, the platform also ensures KYC and tax compliance so your program runs on autopilot for you 👨‍✈️

Hi @kensavage, we offer payouts through Paypal or Venmo currently, and are looking to add others like Stripe in the future. These options are already very popular, and in the future we may consider adding other options like donations or crypto if there is enough demand from our customers and referrers. We make it simple for referrers to add their details in the Cello component and we handle all areas of the process, for example credit notes for tax purposes.

Thanks @rolf_risnes1. While it does help to have more traction to start to amplify word of mouth, we also have lots of customers who are successful with much less traction to start. Really comes down to the reward your offer to the referrer and discount they can share, and our teams work with customers on setting up the ideal program parameters.

@stephanie_neusser thanks for this great feedback :) Focus is on improving our core platform and adding to our affiliate functionality (Direct affiliate enablement & management, Media library and direct communication options, access for partners to multiple referral programs). Mid-term we will start tackling B2C, enable multiprogram access and adding more growth loops to the platform (e.g. review management)
