What's great

Here's what I told another founder when he asked about CRM: CRM is critical but the category is unbelievably old and crusty. I'd go with Clarify because they're building new here and are doing it well.

What needs improvement

Sometimes I want more granularity on calls to exclude from recording, etc. I've seen the maturity of the product grow there even in the last year.

Many repetitive tasks like "update this deal" are automated and it learns as you have more meetings, deals etc. I like where they're going with outbound so that the revenue tech stack can be powerful but simplified into one product.

I've tried them all - Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio. Every single one of them felt like I was feeding data into a system just to generate dashboards nobody reads. Clarify is the first CRM that actually gives back.

The AI layer is genuinely impressive. After a few weeks, it started connecting dots I hadn't even noticed - surfacing stale deals, prepping context before calls, and summarizing threads without me lifting a finger. As a founder running sales myself, this is exactly the kind of leverage I needed. The clean, distraction-free interface is a huge plus too. No bloat, no unnecessary clicks. It just gets out of the way.

Really like how simple it was to get started and to start using Clarify. We switched over from HubSpot mainly because of the AI automations that mean as a founder led sales team, we can move much faster! Also considered Attio but that required a lot of set up whereas Clarify just worked out of the box!

What stands out with Clarify is that it tries to remove the part of CRM that most teams dislike: keeping it updated.

A lot of CRM systems become places where information goes to be stored, but the actual work still happens somewhere else. Clarify’s approach feels more practical because it tries to keep sales context connected to the conversations and deals happening every day.

For founder-led sales teams especially, where the same person is managing conversations, follow-ups, and pipeline, reducing that manual work can make a real difference.

I’d like to see more depth around integrations and customization as teams grow.

The simpler experience is a big advantage early on, but larger sales workflows usually need more flexibility around how data moves between tools and how teams configure their process.

The direction makes sense. The more Clarify can keep the simplicity while adding that flexibility, the stronger it becomes.

What's great

Clarify is great. I have seen them ship more updates in the last 15 months or so of using the product than any other CRM that I've ever used. The product is solid. They don't have a lot of noise/distraction, and are focused on building things that matter.

Note: below it says that "I didn't use this for work" but that's because I have to pick a company that I've launched on ProductHunt. I used this tool for my app, Holscher Analytics.
