Meet Clera: your AI talent agent for finding roles you actually want. Clera gets to know what you’re looking for over iMessage and WhatsApp. It surfaces roles you’d actually be excited by and makes direct intros to relevant companies. You hear about good opportunities without spending hours searching and applying.

running through iMessage is a smart call. job searching already feels like a second job — the last thing you want is another app to check. curious how it gets to know your preferences over time, like does it ask directly or pick up on what you react to?
Clera
@ahmadhajj yes, and usually there is so many. Clera tries to get the basic stuff upfront, but then learns alongside your activity. Reactions, interview feedback, simple nudges. Always hard though to nail a proper experience here, to not ask for too much, while we need some data to surface the best matches. Any feedback on the flow here?
Clera
@ahmadhajj Clera also gets a feeling for how happy you are with the current matches and realizes in case it needs to dig deeper on preferences or ask follow up questions to nail the fit better. It's constantly improving as it talks with users
Clera
@ahmadhajj hey Ahmad! Exactly, an app that lives there where you already live (iMessage/WhatsApp)! We learn your preferences based on what roles you find interesting and any additional input you give us over time!
Clera
@ahmadhajj it's a mix of looking at their background and making assumptions of preferences and also asking along the journey.
Furthermore we learn from job feedback -> e.g. are you not interested in the job because of salary, location etc? Then we can extract that info while learning along the journey
Very easy to use and intuitive platform. The AI resume Analysis feels a bit generic though and on subsequent updates to the resume the analysis doesn't really change. But these small things are not deal breakers and I feel confident the team will ship updates soon. The job curation is top notch and the team is very easily reachable!
Clera
@diya_burman Thanks for the feedback! You can also get more detailed resume feedback (or build it from scratch) here https://resume.getclera.com/ - working on implementing better feedback through chat
Clera
@diya_burman thanks so much for the good feedback. I agree, we still need to work on the AI resume Analysis. Let us know if you find any other things we should work on.
Clera
@diya_burman thanks so much Diya, appreciated. Agree with the Resume Analysis, by now we have quite a good set and quite some opinions on how to properly write Resumes. While I personally think Resumes are a relict of the past, they are (still) required and why not make it as easy as possible to get that polished up. What did you feel missing in the feedback though? Actionability? To make it less generic?
Clera
@diya_burman Hey Diya! Our resume analysis is still in its early days and hasnt been a priority later, we will work very hard to offer the best experience here!
Looks really cool - can't wait to try when we restart hiring. Curious how do you source candidates - is it Clera users on the other side; or also off-platform candidates?
Clera
@dawid_baranowski Love to hear it and great question! It's actually both, our fast growing talent pool of 80,000+ candidates as well as sourcing off-platform based on what our clients are looking for
Clera
@dawid_baranowski Hey Dawid! We match jobs to our growing talent pool of +80k of the best talents in the US and Europe! If youre interested in one of these talents, you can easily request an intro and if a talent is matched to the role and interested, the talent can easily request an intro!
Our matchmaking is top notch and makes sure if only matches both sides, if we actually expect a mutual interest!
@illja @benedict_wolters Great stuff folks. Will be first on my list to try when we hire (soon I hope!!)
Clera
@benedict_wolters @dawid_baranowski nice lets goooo!
Clera
@dawid_baranowski sounds great - let's definetely connect when we can help you with hiring!
We continuously build out our pool and also have automated sourcing campaigns reach out to the right people to get them talking to roles like the best recruiters do
Clera
@tehreem_fatima5 great question - yes we are in direct contact with the founders and hiring managers (often slack channels) and pitch good fitting candidates. Once they like a candidate, we automatically introduce them to schedule an interview. Trying to remove all friction possible for both sides:)
Clera
@tehreem_fatima5 agreed & thats one of the main reasons we started Clera. Just like Bene mentioned we ping both sides if we think its worth both their while. This creates trust and thus enables us to provide a lot of signal for both sides.
Clera
@tehreem_fatima5 absolutely - we are mostly in Slack channels with them or they use our interface and there we share the candidates
Clera
@sebastian_scott3 @tehreem_fatima5 That's one of my favourite parts of clera. All of a sudden you just get a message that a founder wants to talk to you.
It's a great product! Matched with a lot of roles that I found compelling and was presented with opportunities that I otherwise would not have had. The traditional job application process has really been disrupted with the advent of AI and automated job applications as well as automated job application reviews. I've had cases where I would apply for a position and a recruiter would reach out to me later for the exact same position and have no idea I already applied for it. I've also had cases where hiring managers would reach out to ask me to apply for positions that I've already been rejected for because my resume did not pass the ATS screen. Employers are clearly frustrated by the sheer volume of unqualified applicants they get on a regular bases because of these tools. I've even seen some companies try to get around this by asking applicants to make api requests as part of their job application to prove they're human. I think both employers and employees are frustrated by the new job application landscape and this seems like a great solution to use AI to improve the job application experience for everyone involved.
Clera
@ebore_awano the market and the practices has been crazy lately. Mass apply tools fighting against AI screening. Just exposes the flawed system IMO which has gotten worse for job seekers and hiring managers, while it's essentially about something so meaningful. So, thanks for your feedback - let's make this better.
Clera
@ebore_awano This is exactly the broken loop we kept seeing - apply → filtered out → sourced later for the same role.
The system is is broken for everyone involved - candidates and companies - Clera is smarter than that:)
Clera
@ebore_awano I saw the problem first hand! Hundreds of new applications entering our ATS, I was literally overwhelmed by the amount of resumes I had to look at! Even integrated AI solutions of the ATS system didnt solved the problem, because its not about keyword matching (that what these tools do), but its about understanding what a candidate actually wants for this career. With Clera we are building a solution which tries to solve this information asymmetry! We are deeply understanding a candidates profile and his intentions and are able to match him to the right roles at the right companies!
Clera
@ebore_awano appreciate the feedback and honesty here!
Clera
@ebore_awano thanks for your feedback! I am happy for you that you had some great opportunities through our platform and I fully resonate with your experience on the existing landscape. A long way to go as it's such an important piece for job seekers and companies, esp. with the impact of AI on the jobmarket.
i am assuming its primarily focusing on the west for now?
Clera
@roy_kek you will have the best experience currently if you are US or Central Europe based, yes. Got some big plans of course, but we want to nail these regions first. You can still try it out - would love your feedback.
Clera
@roy_kek We do have some clients looking to fill remote roles for example in LatAm as it overlaps with US time zone but the focus is on US and Europe as most our clients primarily hire there right now - more to come in the future though as we see the problem everywhere.
Clera
@roy_kek Hey Roy! We are focusing on the US and Europe right now! We have a couple of companies hiring outside of that in Australia, Dubai etc, but you will definitely get the best experience if you are located in the US or Europe!
Clera
@roy_kek for now. But will expand time over time. I was actually also born in Singapore, so will let u know once we're there ;)!
@sebastian_scott3 cool, let me know if you are in town will love to grab a coffee and discuss about product related stuff
Good idea, love to know how many platforms are u integrating to find the roles?
Clera
@bilalasif we're actually only listing companies where we can make direct intros - which is also one of the biggest differentiators vs job boards. Curious on your product feedback!
Clera
@bilalasif Hey Bilal! We are actually working together with all of the companies you will see roles off on Clera! We are in direct Slack channels and are able to pitch our users super efficiently to the founders and hiring mangers of the best startups out there!
Clera
@bilalasif yea, no random roles that we scraped from somewhere. Only jobs we can actually get you a direct intro to.
