Do you know what data your photos reveal about you? 🤔 Every image you share contains hidden metadata exposing your exact location, daily schedule, and technical details that can fingerprint your device. Whether you’re a photographer or privacy-conscious, you need to be aware of this risk. DropTidy lets you delete this data in your browser. 🔒 Total Privacy: Everything happens inside your browser. 🕵️ Deep Analysis: Find hidden privacy risks. ✨ Lossless: Keeps original quality and resolution.

lol I always assumed photos were just… photos. Didn’t really think about anything extra being attached to them. DropTidy made me realise there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes and it is simple enough that you don’t need to understand all the technical stuff to still protect yourself.
I honestly felt the same way before I started this. Its pretty scary that a basic photo has your phones serial number or even the software you used to edit it just sitting there.
I really wanted to make it so you dont have to be a tech person to clear that stuff. Did you find anything weird in your own photos when you scanned them @hannah_krause1?
Great project. I remember once needing to remove metadata and trying 5–6 services — almost everywhere it required special knowledge to do it.
Thanks, @mykyta_semenov_! That is exactly why I built it.
Since you have tried so many others, I would love to get your honest thoughts on how this compares. Want me to add some extra free credits to your account so you can test it properly?😊
Kinda surprising how much information gets bundled into a image without anyone noticing. Location, device details all of it just goes along when we share an image.
It’s hard to believe that an app can keep working even after you go offline. I tried it myself and it really does work. Before this I never thought about how much hidden data is inside the pics we share every day. And Congrats on the launch.
Im really glad you actually tested it offline, @yulia_kuznetsova3! Thats the ultimate test if it works without internet, you know for a fact your photos never leave your device.
Was it the location data or the device signatures that surprised you the most?
This is a dream tool for a naturally paranoid person like me! Congrats on the launch 🙂
Haha, welcome to the club @alina_petrova3! You are definitely not alone.
Whats the main thing that worries you the most when you share photos online?
@tomdra I don't post them much 😅 and all of my personal accounts are closed (not publicly available). The most concerning is sharing photos where my child is present.
Parents are actually one of the main groups I had in mind while building this. Its scary how a single photo can leak so much.
Im actually planning to add even more support for parents soon. Specifically a way to to blur kids faces alongside the metadata cleaning. What do you think about that? Is that something you would appreciate as a feature @alina_petrova3? 🤔
@tomdra I’m open to test drive your tool and share feedback. Let’s stay in touch.
