I would be so lost without Evernote. It’s my go to for putting all my random thoughts at work down and making sense of meetings afterwards the fact. I honestly don’t know what I would do if it went away!

I'm a former subscriber and early adopter of Evernote, but it went in to a slow development phase and started paying too much attention to IoS for me. I'm in the process of bringing out my content from Evernote to OneNote using the tools provided by Microsoft. OneNote may not be as good, but it's free and not bad - and it will probably outlast me, unlike Evernote or any Google product.
@troychristmas@samsabri This is note taking app, right? So what the advantages does it have comparing to iOS "Notes" app? Let's look at it through everyday usage prism. I was using "Evernote" and then deleted it and started using "Notes" app and it way better.
This is just my own experience. Maybe I do not understand something.
@arif_aze@samsabri If you are just taking text notes and don't need to connect anything outside the apple Notes universe, Evernote or OneNote are overkill. If you want a repository of your ideas that is easily searchable and connected with the rest of your life, Evernote or OneNote could be good options.
Great to see Evernote doing something new. I love it as a service. It's like Dropbox for my brain.

@sgoudie checkout DevonThink! It's another personal knowledge base system that has used AI and machine learning for years to deep link and make relevant content relevant at the right time. Basically says, "you also mentioned [this thing] over here and over there." Finally Evernote took note of DevonThink! Too bad DevonThink isn't as popular.
