When we first used the ezhire service, we registered with one set of bank details. Later on, we requested for that bank account to be deleted, as we were switching to a new one. They repeatedly told us to remove the old account through the app. I followed their instructions and successfully removed the old bank account — only the new one remained visible in the system. We specifically asked them if the old bank details were completely removed from their records, and they confirmed with a clear YES, stating it was permanently deleted. However, to our shock, a fine was recently charged to the old bank account — the very one they claimed was deleted and no longer in their system. This transaction happened without our knowledge or permission. This is a serious violation of trust and raises major concerns about data privacy. It proves that ezhire still keeps sensitive bank information even after confirming its deletion. ezhire is not safe. They store bank details without consent, even after deletion requests. This is unacceptable. We demand accountability and immediate action to prevent this from happening to others.

The car was old dented and rubbish. They use third party vendors for everything. They advertise there is no deposit but once you have booked the rental they tell you to pay a deposit to confirm the booking. Lastly there is no value of customers time. I got the car 2 hours late and the collection guy made me wait all day before finally coming to collect it. Won't be booking again. Update: 5 days after my rental, i was charged for a fine. On enquiring what the fine is for, i keep going in circles. Its been 4 weeks now, but they are still unable to tell me what the fine is for, where it was applied and show me a receipt of the payment that they have made. So its basically a huge scam to get more money out of you since they were the cheapest option initially.

AVOID THE SCAMS FROM EZHIRE. WE USED THIER SERVICE TWICE. THE FIRST TIME WASN’T THE BEST BUT OKAY AND WE THOUGHT WE COULD GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY. SO THE SECOND TIME WE HIRE THEM OUR EXPERIENCE WAS A NIGHTMARE HUGE DISASTER. WE SCHEDULED THE CAR FOR PICK UP AT 4PM AS WE HAVE TO BE SOMEWHERE BEFORE 6PM, AND THEY FAILED TO BE ON TIME SO WE NEEDED TO GO AND PICK UP THE CAR AS WE ARE PICKING UP THE CAR THE STAFF AT THE LOCATION HAS CLUELESS ABOUT THE PICK UP IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING TO TALK WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. 3DAYS AFTER USING THE CAR WE SCHEDULED FOR PICK UP AN HOUR BEFORE I HAD TO GO CATCH MY FLIGHT. AGAIN THEY FAILED TO COME ON TIME I HAD TO CALL THEM COUNTLESS TIME TO ASK WHERE THE DRIVER IS AS I NEEDED TO LEAVE NO ONE SHOWED UP. COMMUNICATING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS THE MOST PAINFUL PART OF MY EXPERIENCE. AND 3WEEKS LATER THEIR CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR 84AED SAYING ITS FOR THE FUEL I GOT THE GOT WITH 4lines fuel and return with the same. Honestly this company knows absolutely nothing but to give nightmares there are way better car rental companies in DUBAI like QUICK LEASE CAR RENTAL, SELFDRIVE CAR RENTAL, CARS24 DUBAI AND MORE. AVOID EZHIRE AND SAVE YOURSELF A HASSLE.

NEVER AGAIN! We planned our trip precisely so the car would be picked up at scheduled time 11 AM — but no one showed up. We called, only to find out they already charged us for an extra day! Their excuse? They “called us at 8 AM” and we didn’t answer. ONE missed call — while I was driving! Feels completely intentional and like a scam. Customer service? Rude, dismissive, and with an attitude like “We don’t care, we already charged you. We can come get the car now, but you’re still paying for the day.” Instead of helping, they made the situation even worse with their arrogant behavior. And to top it off? I didn’t even use the car that day — my whole day was ruined. I will be reporting this company for their shady practices and absolutely disgraceful customer service. Not only did they fail to resolve the issue, they actively escalated it. Avoid at all costs.

Horrible Experience - Total Scam! Do NOT rent from this company! They charged me AED 690 for a fine that I had already paid myself, and they refuse to refund it. On top of that, they are taking extra money from my card without any explanation. Their so-called “service fee” for each fine payment is ridiculously high—more than 50 AED! The customer service is the WORST I have ever dealt with. They don’t care about their customers and ignore complaints. To make matters worse, they stole my personal belongings from the car and are refusing to return them! If you want to rent a car, they’ll respond immediately to charge your account, but the moment you have an issue, they lie and disappear. Avoid this company at all costs. Total liars and scammers!

This company is a marketplace that will charge on top of the rental of their suppliers and charge for pick and drop off. You might be okay with that. More importantly they have automatic renewal clauses in the rental contract and if you don’t notify them that they should pick up at the end of the contract period they will charge you extra. This is ridiculous and small time scam
