Google Tasks earns praise for its simplicity and speed, with users highlighting straightforward list-making, subtasks, and reliable mobile notifications. The standout benefit is tight integration across Google’s ecosystem—appearing in Gmail, syncing with Calendar, and working consistently on Android and iOS—making it easy to capture tasks wherever you are. Reviewers say it’s ideal for basic to-dos and daily scheduling. Critiques focus on an unintuitive design and limited depth for power users. Overall, it’s valued as a no-frills, always-there companion that keeps essentials organized.
Cube.js
A todo app without widget is an instant no-go
Pros:Very simple
Cons:Too simple
I have used a lot of todo apps (including Google Tasks), but none of them can prioritize tasks automatically. I often end up with spending a lot of time to prioritize tasks everyday. ConfluxOne is the only app that is smart enough to bubble up the task when the due date get closer and closer. I just need to set due date on a task and forget about it. I don't need to worry about being surprised by a due task.
Pros:- Fast - Clean user interface
Cons:- Cannot prioritize tasks automatically. - Cannot add tag to a task.
Thanks to the application on the phone, I began to set tasks more often. I like the connection with the calendar very much. I miss the full web version. Now only the mini-version in the calendar, there is little space.
Pros:I like the visual design, usability, speed of work and synchronization with Google calendar
Cons:You can add more sublevels, like in Todoist
