This is a very well-designed app and a product that truly adds value. In a world where preventive medicine is more and more relegated to second plan and we are left to fend for ourselves, constantly impacted by generic "medical" information that might or might not apply directly to our individual case, Healsens is a breath of fresh air because it uses your own medical data to give you that input. It's truly a game-changer!

A great idea with a great design and good implementation. I find the references to official and good sources very nice. I was just wondering whether all the tests should really be completed within the specified time periods. This is not recommended in Germany.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. All tests in our screening plan are accompanied by references to sources, providing a transparent understanding of the criteria for their inclusion. In cases where recommendations from different organizations diverge, we conscientiously clarify this in the description. This also applies to tests for which results are presented to the patient after a thorough review of the pros and cons of the screening process. Our aim is to ensure the relevance of the program not only for Germany but also for the entirety of Europe and the USA. Presently, the program does not encompass the Eastern region and its associated specific risks. The plan features only two tests that are not part of conventional medical practice, and this is clearly indicated. These tests are essential for calculating allostatic load, an area we are actively collaborating on with a professor and a doctor of medicine in this field.

This is such a needed tool! Congrats on the launch!! In which cases does the app refer users to visiting a doctor? Are there cases when it doesn't and actually can provide recommendations without additional check with a doctor?

Healsens

Thank you for your interest! There are slight differences in how the app functions based on different countries. For instance, in the US, the app prompts users to consult with a doctor and discuss their test results in any case. In the Netherlands, the app advises users when it might be necessary to visit a healthcare provider. However, in both scenarios, after undergoing tests, screenings, and body composition assessments, users receive a wealth of information on how to improve their results. What Healsens doesn’t do is provide treatment if it’s required. We firmly believe that treatment should be overseen by a doctor who can prescribe the best course of action. Healsens assists in tracking the progress of treatment and, in some cases, informs users about different treatment protocols available in various countries.
