I've been using Ideaflow for over 2 years and it's my absolute favorite app on my phone. It's low-latency and flexible, but it has a lot of horsepower under the hood, and it's completely replaced my previous note-taking stack. I've had the privilege of knowing Jacob for several years now, and there's no one else who I trust more to build my second brain.

So excited to see this launch! I am a community builder and need to track the names of hundreds of people in order to best support them in meeting their needs. Ideaflow is a powerful tool to augment my social memory!
I’m wondering if there is integration with Contacts on the radar? and is there a way it can integrate with Notion?
@andy_rapista_ Yes! We're planning to integrate with your contacts, which will enable the following powerful workflow: you can meet a bunch of people at an event, jot notes down about them, and write their phone numbers straight into Ideaflow, and then they'll automatically appear in your contacts.
We're also thinking of deploying an AI agent on your Ideaflow thoughtstream (what we call your list of notes) to read through it and see what notes warrant update to Notion pages. So, in the future, you'll be able to talk naturally, saying things like, update our company hiring page to mention holistic health benefits, and an AI agent will do it. Ideaflow is striving to be that initial capture interface :)!
Love, love, love this app. It's the app I didn't know I needed. I've used note taking apps previously, but this? This is easy. It does all the hard work of organizing for you. Do you know what a relief that is for my brain? For people like me in the business of learning and human performance, organizing information to make it useful is most of the battle. Can't wait to see what the future looks like for this app and company.
I was always thinking of having an app as my "Idea Bank". I guess that need will be met with this app. I am certainly going to give it a try. Thank you @Jacob_cole for introducing me to your work.
@jacob_cole@ishwarjha Yep, I do that too :) Ideaflow is an editor you can live in. I feel a sense of ease being able to press Cmd+K and throw in whatever ideas I've been thinking of lately, no matter my state of mind. We're working on making this even better, too, with AI enhancements to search, etc--so you never have fear of losing anything you toss in there.

@jacob_cole Say hello to your customer. I used to create ghost whstapp groups to quickly capture my thoughts as audio, and scribble the notes.
Transcription of audio could be a great value addition.

@jacob_cole@bthoppil Ideaflow is great for unique note-takers like you! I just got off an onboarding call with someone who takes notes in the drafts of emails. Ideaflow strives to be the replacement for all ye thought-scribblers and artifact-leavers!
We hope you thoroughly enjoy our audio workflow, we have really smart transcription and great auto-structured notes, and so much more planned!
Congrats on the launch @cody_hergenroeder ! A really interesting concept especially with hashtags and everything…two things i noticed:
- Onboarding: If the onboarding could’ve been directly inside the app inside of redirecting to a link, would be more better
- Simplistic UI: right now it feels that the app is built for a desktop and not a phone, too many things and cards cranked up…if something can be done to simplify in that regards and make it look not that complex, would be great!
Honestly, really like the product and the idea, have already started using it…especially using #motivation hashtag for logging in my daily dose of inspiration!

@rohan_singhvi1 Also, there is onboarding in the app! Let us know if you find it confusing/insufficient. We just wanted to provide a calendly like so all you awesome people would have full access to maximize the potential of this tool! It's a paradigm-shift so some people don't yet know how to use it *their way*.

This is an amazing note taking tool. Take it from someone who has been using the Notes app on her iPhone for a bazillion years. Importing from that into Ideaflow is a breeze.
