One thing I’m curious about is multilingual content: since a lot of articles are written in different languages, do you see Katalog supporting translation + audio narration in the future? I feel like being able to save an article in one language, then listen to it fluently in another, could be a huge unlock for global users.

@christyfea That's an interesting idea! If I understood correctly, you mean saving articles written in different languages, but then Katalog would transform them into a language the user prefers, so they could listen to them.
Indeed, I think there is a lot of potential with that angle! I haven't planned any translation feature just yet, but I can see adding the auto-translate capability. The voice models I'm using support quite a few languages already, so that should be possible too

Does the service support articles that aren’t in English? I tried copying one from a site, pescanik.net, and got an error "Failed to save article from pescanik.net". Is there a fix for this? Thanks!

@john_montgomery1 Hey John! I added a "share feedback" button to the top right corner. I'm also receiving reports when the app fails to fetch the article from a specific domain. I will try to debug the domain you mentioned above as well

The look and feel of the product is awesome....good job on that....
just tried it out....execution is super clean.....no clutter....straight to the point....agent integration to have a back&forth conv is amazing...
just found a small bug
the voice is changing sometimes between the paragraphs while reading....

Re: the bug: will definitely take a look, it's probably related to the realtime agent integration. If you find any more issues, please let me know – would love to get them fixed

great product folks! I've been looking for a tool like this since other solutions like Notebook LM don't actually narrate the content.
I also really appreciate the quality of the UI that's been put into it! Seems like a really well-thought-out product 🙌

Yeah, that was exactly my frustration with Notebook LM. It's great for what it is, but also I really want to hear what the original author said/wrote in their own words.

It was really fun designing the app. Primarily, I wanted to focus on making it les distracting. So it doesn't pull attention away from the content you're listening to.
I also enjoy the orange clouds aesthetics as branding technique 😅
