Jumping in with a rare female perspective @editorialpinch – I got exactly what you were doing with 'Airbnb for families' (the name also gives it away), and knew what to expect before the page loaded.
Stunning site and photography – congrats!
@KateKendall thanks for jumping in! I briefly mentioned to @margauxviola today that we need more female perspective on Product Hunt. I'm aware of the sausage fest. :)

@rrhoover essentially, we're about removing the noise, and offering busy families a curated selection of impeccable vacation options.
Alongside our property lineup is a dedicated, human to human approach to customer service and the logistics around traveling with kiddos. We're all parents. We get it, and our global community of staffers, hosts, and influencers are helping us build a wealth of relevant local info that we share with our guests.
I love this idea! I think in general, there is a lot of room to compete and fill markets that AirBnB hasn't addressed. For example, an AirBnB focused on summer intern housing would do exceptionally well in SF/NYC, etc.
@editorialpinch - I'm curious how you plan to convince parents and families of the safety, cleanliness, etc. I know that my parents and family friends have used Redweek.com in the past. Also, on a different note, I'd suggest not forcing the user to "sign up" when clicking "How it works." For me, that's a huge deterrent.

@blakeir Thank you so much for finding that How it Works issue - that is a new bug - and hugely annoying, agreed. Our dev team is fixing it now.
We undergo an extensive vetting and editorial review process with each property that is submitted to our site. About 75% of Kid & Coe properties are shot by our global team of photographers who help us evaluate family friendliness, safety, and authenticity. All property owners collaborate with our editorial team to ensure that our writeups are as accurate and comprehensive as possible. The stats that we surface about each property have family safety in mind, ie "Fireguards provided for the wood burners" and "Pool has permanent gate" as well as family priorities: "The front garden: pick herbs together, play on the lawn or relax in the hammock".
BTW, huge fan of SpaceX.
@editorialpinch - I definitely understood what you meant by AirBnb for families right away. I like the idea as there are so many additional things you care about when traveling with kids that can make or break the trip.
