Google Sheets as the data layer is smart for small-medium chains... the editing UX beats any custom CMS. Dmitry's question about messy addresses is the real test though. Most no-code locators punt on validation and just pass garbage to the geocoder. Address normalization before the geocode step would make this way more reliable.
This tool has made setting up our store locator so straightforward—no coding hassle at all, and the instant sync from Google Sheets is such a relief! Quick question: can we customize the map’s color scheme and branding to match our website’s look?
This solves a very real ops problem. Spreadsheets are still the backbone of many multi-location setups, so building on top of Sheets makes a lot of sense.
