Transparency over secrecy: Crypto Core now Open Source

Today marks a significant milestone for Locki with the open-sourcing of its crypto core.

While many tools claim to be "secure," few offer the transparency to prove it. Moving the AES-GCM primitives to the public domain serves two purposes:

It provides absolute proof of the Zero-Knowledge architecture. It demonstrates that encryption happens on the client side and that raw data never touches the servers.
It contributes back to the ecosystem. Developers now have access to a clean, browser-native library for text and file encryption that follows the same standards used in Locki.

Locki v2.0 brings a new tier built for teams - with the tools IT admins and security-conscious organizations need to manage encryption at scale.

What s new in v2.0 (Teams Pro):

Organization Accounts - IT admins can manage shared keys in groups and control team access.
Smart Suggestions - Define rules to detect sensitive patterns (API keys, PII) and get a gentle nudge to encrypt them before hitting send.
Full Audit Trail - Everything is logged with actor and context for compliance.
Expanded Platform Support - Locki now works inside more platforms, including Proton Mail and Google Chat.
Key rotation - admins can rotate keys without losing access to old encrypted content.

- Key limit increased from 5 to 10

- Added secure keys import/export with password protection, enabling secure backup or team data sharing, ensuring the privacy and security of your data
