Hey Product Hunt Team!
I’m Jason, the Maker of MagicLight.AI. I’m super excited to share with you what we’ve been working on day and night — the MagicLight Story-Generating Video Agent 🎬✨
MagicLight is a smart AI video creation tool that transforms your ideas or scripts into dynamic, multi-character, multi-scene videos. It supports character customization, automatic storyboarding, and videos up to 50 minutes long — making creativity truly unlimited.
Why did we build this?💡
In content creation, you usually have to juggle between different tools for scriptwriting, character design, scene transitions, and video editing. It’s a complex, time-consuming process. So we asked ourselves: What if we bring everything together in one place? That’s how MagicLight was born — an all-in-one AI video creation tool that helps creators go from idea to finished video efficiently and effortlessly.
We’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback! Even the smallest suggestion means a lot to us. We’ll keep improving with innovation and sincerity, and we can’t wait to see the amazing stories you’ll create with MagicLight!

@jason123 how does it handle consistency of characters across multiple scenes? that’s often where ai storytelling tools struggle.
Magiclight
@mohsinproduct Thank you Mohsin!Great question! 🙌 You’re absolutely right—character consistency across scenes is one of the biggest challenges for AI storytelling tools. For MagicLight, we’ve put a lot of effort into addressing this. Specifically, we train a LoRA model for each main character, which allows them to maintain a high level of consistency in appearance and style across multiple scenes.
Of course, this is still an area we’re continuously improving—our goal is to make characters not only look consistent, but also evolve naturally throughout a story. If you give it a try, we’d love to hear your feedback—it will help us keep pushing the boundaries here!
@jason123 How do you demonstrate the movements of the animals and make sure they behave properly as our TA would be underages
Magiclight
@k987612345001 Hi!Thank you so much for your question! The movements of our animal characters mainly depend on the prompts you provide. Of course, if the description includes anything inappropriate, our system will detect it and won’t generate it.

@jason123 The all-in-one video creation approach addresses a real workflow problem. Most content creators do bounce between multiple tools for scripting, design, and editing.
How does the multi-character consistency work across longer videos? That's usually where AI video tools break down - characters look different between scenes or lose their defining features halfway through.
Also curious about the 50-minute length capability. What are the computational requirements for generating that much content? Most AI video platforms I've seen struggle with anything over a few minutes without quality degradation.
Magiclight
@alex_chu821 Hi Alex, Thank you very much for your question. We provide a wide range of high-quality LoRA-trained characters to ensure consistency across different scenarios as much as possible. In addition, regarding resource generation, you don’t need to worry—I have my own server resource management technology. We’ve also carefully decomposed long-form story content to ensure consistent quality across a 50-minute video.
Scrumball
@jason123 Thanks for the technical breakdown. The LoRA character training makes sense for keeping faces and styles consistent - that's usually where AI video falls apart.
Your own server setup must be expensive but gives you way more control than renting compute. Most platforms I've tested choke on anything over 10 minutes because of resource constraints.
Going to try it out with some product demo concepts.

@alex_chu821 You’re absolutely right! We’ve made a significant investment in our servers to ensure a great video generation experience. Please feel free to explore it, and if you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to share your feedback with me. Thank you for your support!
@jason123 Good luck!

I noticed that you have an "Academy" website within the Dashboard. But I cannot get from that link anywhere. What is it supposed to be, and will it be available?
Magiclight
@busmark_w_nika Hi Nika!Thank you so much for pointing this out! The “Academy” section is indeed part of our roadmap. It will soon become an open community where we share tutorials, best practices, and tips for getting the most out of Magiclight. We also plan to include insights, case studies, and inspiration from other creators, so everyone can learn and grow together.
At the moment, the link is not yet active, but we’re working hard to bring it online as soon as possible. We truly appreciate your patience and your interest—it means a lot to us. Please stay tuned, and we’ll share updates once it’s ready!

Nice launch — the automatic storyboarding and multi-character support sound very useful. What control do creators have over scene pacing and transitions (e.g., shot length, cuts, crossfades)? Can we fine-tune those manually after the AI generates the initial storyboard? Knowing the editing flexibility would help me plan longer narratives.
Magiclight
@jaredl Hi Jaredl!Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for taking an interest in MagicLight!
We designed MagicLight to give creators both speed and flexibility. After the AI generates the initial storyboard, you do have a lot of control over scene pacing and transitions. You can adjust shot lengths, add or remove cuts, and choose transition styles like crossfades or wipes. Our goal is to let creators fine-tune the flow to fit their narrative vision, whether it’s a short video or a longer story.
We’re constantly working on improving the editing flexibility, and feedback like yours is extremely valuable—it helps us prioritize features that make the tool more useful for creators planning complex projects.
We’d love to hear about the kinds of stories you’re planning to create with MagicLight, and we’re always happy to answer any questions or discuss workflow tips to make your process smoother.
Thanks again for your support, and we hope MagicLight can help bring your creative ideas to life!

Big congrats on your launch! Great work! Turning ideas/scripts into multi-character, 50-minute videos is a huge win for creators tired of juggling tools. Quick question: Are there beginner templates to help new users get started fast? 🤔
Magiclight
@lvyanghuang Hi Shake Lyu,Thank you for your question! Yes—we provide beginner-friendly templates and a very clear workflow, so new users can get started fast. Plus, our AI Video Agent makes the whole process super efficient, helping creators focus on ideas while we handle the rest. We’d love to hear your experience and any feedback you may have!

Love how MagicLight pulls together scriptwriting, character design, and editing into a single workflow—saves so much time! Just cuurious - can you export storyboards separately for team reviews?
Magiclight
@cruise_chen You’ve brought up a brilliant idea! Many independent studios are already using Magic Light to create videos, and we’ll soon be rolling out collaborative video creation and storyboard features. Stay tuned!
