What needs improvement

This an extremely unreliable product. Calendars keep disconnecting, bot continuously fails to turn up (maybe comes to 1 in 5 meetings)... Would not recommend (used for over 3 months now) had to switch to meetgeek.

TOTAL SCAM! We have initially purchased a lifetime deal for MeetMinutes.in which included all necessary credits to function as advertised. Earlier this year all lifetime deal customers experienced that the founder advertised that this product now has BYOK, and for us "early adopters," this meant ONLY BYOK. Meaning no matter how much you paid for the product that was supposed to have a certain number of minutes included each month, this was no longer valid, and to have this product still running as intended now you would have to incur additional costs each month. Online on Facebook, this has been discussed multiple times discussed but the founder acts as if we were idiots and also treats us that way, pretending we should be grateful that we now have the option for unlimited meeting credits (of course, only if we pay additionally for it, which was never the discussion nor was it ever advertised like that. Not to mention that the app is technically junk, even if you waste additionally money on it. We have returned to our subscription with Otter.ai because MeetMinutes would not even provide a full summary, leaving out a lot of important topics and discussion points from meetings. I think it is really important to look into who is advertising and selling from where to avoid experiencing being scammed, and also if quality and functionality are being focused on. And also keep in mind there are also free options available out there if you do not require too many minutes of meeting recordings. All still better than this!

I am sorry to hear that your experience with MeetMinutes was not what you hoped for. We truly never want any user to feel dissatisfied. I do want to clarify a few important points for anyone reading this, because some of the statements here are not accurate and do not reflect how we operate or how we have handled the Lifetime Deal (LTD) transition.

1. Lifetime access was never removed.

All our LTD buyers continue to have:

- Lifetime platform access

- Unlimited cloud storage for all past & future meeting recordings

- Full meeting-bot infrastructure

- API access

- All future AI platform features

That core lifetime access remains fully intact.

2. Only the variable-cost AI components moved to BYOK.

Several LTD users (especially from Ken Moo LTD facebook group) started sharing the same MeetMinutes account to exploit the unlimited usage that we were providing. Providing AI features as "unlimited, forever" was not financially sustainable for us as a startup to support such LTD users.

To avoid shutting the LTD entirely; which many companies do; we introduced BYOK, which lets users connect their own AI provider account with full transparency and zero additional markup from us.

3. We have taken concrete steps to support LTD users during this transition.

This includes:

- Adding new BYOK provider integrations (including Straico)

- Offering LTD members priority roadmap influence

- Providing enterprise-level priority support

And importantly:

We offered prorated refunds to low-usage LTD users who felt they had not received sufficient value relative to what they paid. We processed every one of those requests.

4. Many LTD users continue to use MeetMinutes successfully with BYOK integrations, and we are always available to help with setup or optimize their workflows.

One of the best note taking or virtual assistant app for my day to day meetings, this gives me a direct MoM of the meeting without even taking the notes. Can use the transcript and summary as well.
