To me, the app looks great but no amount of work Microsoft does will satisfy the criticism of shutting down the Wunderlist branded app. They are in a no-win situation... even if it is better.

I don't see anything special about the app, it can do only what other similar apps and even Wunderlist could do many years ago... I hope this is just a first version and MSFT is planning new features.

The way Microsoft handled the purchase of Wunderlist is simply unacceptable. A great example of the type of reasoning of large corporations.

The interaction model in MS To Do is terrible; I'm not sure I have time to list all the issues, especially the horrible integration with MS Teams/Office 365. MS insists on overcomplicating every integrated suite they make; there are many apps that do essentially the same thing in Teams for example, MS To Do is just another of too many apps. Focus on getting at least one app right Microsoft, and test the UI on some real people. For example, it takes multiple interactions just to set up a recurring task in To Do, and it has perhaps the clumsiest user interface of any list app available today. This seems to stem from the baffling way they did Tasks AND ToDo's in MS Outlook.

@sergi_chafer I have been using Wunderlist over two years and just switch over to this app. It's much better version than the Wunderlist. One of the main reason I use this because I can use this offline.
