I use MinerGate since the beginning of 2017. It runs quite smoothly with my radeon rx 580. I dig Ethers and ZCash. All is well.
Pros:

The mods of the chat on the front page of the official site ban people for no reason.

MinerGate performs better than the other multi-currency pools. They offer a lot of currencies to mine. It takes some time to reach a confirmation threshold but then you are free to withdraw your coins for free. That's good!
Pros:
Perfect interface, ability to mine 2 currencies at the same time without decrease of the hashrate, you can withdraw to Freewallet for free.
Cons:
No option to withdraw to the other wallets.

My mining experience with MinerGate was quite positive throughout the 3-year length of using it.
Pros:
MG supports many currencies, miners, devices, options and configurations. MinerGate's own miner is very intuitive.

I can't say anything that is worth mentioning.

A promising project, I heard about this site a few months ago. Now I am thinking of registering and starting to mine the currency.

In my opinion Pros of MinerGate fully compensate its' shortcomings because the fact that you don't have to pay for withdrawals make MinerGate more profitable than faster miners that take your money for every action. Moreover, MinerGate has so diverse useful features that it makes this pool and miner much better than the competitors.

No withdrawal fees, user-friendly, low confirmation thresholds, helpful support team, regular payouts
Cons:
Some miners provide a little bit higher speed

MinerGate is a veteran on cryptocurrency market. They have a good reputation. They never were hacked, they were not scamming anyone. I trust them and I feel thankful.

In my opinion the fact that MinerGate pays out is the main positive thing about it! That's the purpose of any mining pool.
