I love using mongolab with heroku :-)! I tried a few other solutions but this was the simplest and easiest to understand. Very awesome integration when doing nodejs apps

Just started using MongoLab yesterday as a Heroku add-on for this project I'm working on. No complaints thus far and set-up was a piece of cake!
MongoLab + Heroku = an awesome and fast and easy way to get your backend up and running, and they're so friendly too!

Love the simplicity of the solution, it was very easy to integrate over Heroku or AWS.
I like that they give the option to choose in the cloud provider and geo region to run your instances on.
And of course they give a free sandboxes for your development/testing environments needs.
If mLab will add some features like phpMyAdmin has - it'll be killer.
But it's works and i'm fine with that.
mLab gave enough place for store some data for side-projects for free. And it's easy to use with heroku. Search "mLab" in heroku addons and chose "Sandbox" and you'll have a custom url to your database
Pros:
I hate to setup databases on local machines, so mLab is the best solution for me & my projects.
