I am terrible with names so this hit a real problem for me. The location-based reminder is the clever part, being nudged to review someone before I walk into the same coffee shop or office again is exactly the moment I actually need the reminder, not some random push notification later in the day. Tap and speak to log someone is fast enough that I actually do it right after meeting someone instead of telling myself I will add it later and never doing it.

This is really useful for corporate events. Can it integrate to social media?

That sounds really useful. I think the voice input makes it quite charming and easy to use "on the go". I will give it a try.

@rgomezp I like everything that helps with memory - because mine isn’t really that good either =D
Congrats on the launch!

This is about to replace my note taking. Thank you! I love the location trigger

Tap and speak is the right call. Most apps in this space die because logging a person takes longer than just forgetting them. I work on voice AI that pulls structured fields out of unscripted speech, and the part that always bites us is the second pass: someone says "Jake, tall, glasses" today, then three months later says "Jake moved to Denver." Does Nametag merge that into the existing card or spin up a new one, and can you correct a wrong descriptor by voice? Also curious how aggressive the location trigger is on battery.

The location trigger is what sold me on this over a plain notes app. I've tried just jotting down names in Apple Notes before and the problem was never capturing the info, it was remembering to look at it again before I needed it. Tying the reminder to place solves that. Congrats on the launch.
