I like the idea behind Notes because it treats old notes as something worth coming back to, rather than just storing them and forgetting about them.

The temporal search and reflection prompts are what stood out to me. Being able to find something I wrote weeks or months ago without remembering exactly where I saved it makes the archive much more useful.

I also like that everything is kept on-device and that I can export my notes to tools like Obsidian or Logseq. No feeling of being locked into another notes app.

I’d love to see more customization around the reflection prompts and smarter ways to connect related notes over time.

Overall, a simple idea, but one that solves a problem I didn’t realize I had until I started thinking about how many useful notes I’ve written and never looked at again.

I’ve used Google Keep, Apple Notes and a few other note-taking apps, but most of them are really good at capturing information and not as good at helping you rediscover it later.
