I've been using Notion ~every day since 2019. I love it, but I also hate it sometimes. Adding AI features was a net negative for me. The UI got clunkier & more annoying. It's obtrusive and pushy sometimes. I use LLMs every day, but for Notion in particular I wish they'd focus on more "prosaic" features that improve the product, rather than jumping on the LLM bandwagon.

The customization options are endless – you can create tables, embed media, and choose from a ton of formatting options to make your pages look exactly how you want. Plus, it integrates with so many other tools, like Google Drive and Trello, which makes it super easy to keep all of my work in one place. I honestly don't know how I managed to get anything done before I started using Notion. It's seriously a game changer.

I'm new to notion and I'm copying some text to notion, but the format of the text changes and becomes difficult to edit, I have to open the word document and copy to notion, which makes me not want to open nation . On the other hand, there is the price. There is a charge for exporting some file formats, but I haven't used the product very deeply. The basic functions have already been charged, and I don't want to use them.

My overall experience with notion has been positive, it can be quite overwhelming at first, but it gets easier the longer its used. Some things about the app seem to not be as intuitive as others, and the app can slow down quite a bit. However, its a very powerful and versatile tool that can basically be used to document anything you can think of!

Notion is great for most use-cases regarding notes, structured data and productive systems as well as publishing simple pages publicly. Especially, the amount of integration and recent quality of life features in databases and project management options are great. However, there are some limitations. There is no one tool that can do everything the best. Sometimes it makes more sense to use a specialized tool.
