- NovaVoice is a desktop application for macOS and Windows no hardware, no waitlist, no vaporware. It is live and free to download today.
- NovaVoice is not just a dictation tool. It eliminates the three most common friction points in a knowledge worker's day: switching to ChatGPT to process a thought, switching apps to send a message, and the gap between how fast you think and how fast you can type. It addresses real daily pain, not a hypothetical one.
- The product is built around a single insight: the interface should disappear. Hotkey activation, context-aware formatting that matches the app you're in, a popover that applies any AI prompt to any text on screen the experience is designed to feel like an extension of thought, not a tool you have to manage.
- The formatting engine lets users define rules in plain language: "make it sound like my grandpa" with a reference attached, or "always output send-ready emails when I dictate in Mail."

How did you solve the dialect problem?

Congratulations on the launch.
I recently broke my arm, which slowed my writing. The default transcriptionist had all the garbage I'd mentioned, so I had to correct it, and my speed ultimately stalled. Your service helped me get back to my previous pace of communication with partners and maintain my polished style without any additional edits. Thank you!

@siprok Thank you, Stepan!
While I'm very sorry to hear that you had a problem with your arm, I'm happy that our tool assisted you on this tough way.
You're 100% right about default transcriptions. They are stuck in 2011.
Anyway, I'm 100% happy that we have helped you. That means we are building an essential tool.
Finally, I've been dreaming about such functionality since Iron Man 1 movie and probably even earlier!
My main goals about voice control were about system things, interactions with apps, but furthermore with smart home, etc. The previous approach I tried is voice assistant with screen interface (it was useful to search for videos, pause/play, skip, etc), but it all felt as a struggle, limited actions, pre-defined formulas... Overall, not so useful.
I'm very excited about this new approach, would be happy to integrate it into my daily routine and broaden my capabilities and increase productivity.

@sindb Thanks for such a nice comment! We also think that this idea is motivated by Tony Stark's Jarvis 😅
We constantly research on how we can improve it with a wider variety of painful use-cases, app integrations, daily actions that can be done by voice.
I will keep you updated on this!
By the way you can book a 1o1 onboarding call on our landing page if you'd like too
The "5x faster than typing" angle is real — I've been looking for something that handles context-aware formatting, not just raw transcription. Most dictation tools feel like they're stuck in 2015.
Curious how it handles technical jargon or mixed-language input (e.g., switching between English and another language mid-sentence). That's usually where voice tools break down for me.
Congrats on the launch!

@tony_shishov Thank you for building this! Really impressive voice quality 🙌

@echosun keep watching us, in near future we'll do great things!
@tony_shishov Will do — excited to see what's next! 🚀

just dropped superwhisper to use this, banger!

@igor_martinyuk Happy to hear this, Igor!
That means that we are on the right way to build a tool that meets users' requests. Please reach me out if you'd like to have a one-on-one onboarding session.

@igor_martinyuk music to my ears!
This looks like a massive time-saver. How well does the app handle ambient background noise if I am working in a busy coffee shop or office?
NovaVoice
@alina_anitei thanks for your question! It works good in noisy spaces.
Please reach us if you'd have problems with quality in noisy environment
