Peach brings me back to the glory days of AOL Instant Messenger. They're like away messages, but you can see a history, and they're enriched w/ Magic Words. Can't wait to see where this one goes.
Also, I'm @adamokane on there!

Also honestly this product seems cool to me, I'm still getting used to the Slack style write command for doing something process, but that's probably because I'm not into gaming and people who are more used to playing games/or people who communicate a lot via other messaging services might find it easier.

I love the concept of this app. It seems like with the uprising of bots for Slack and other messaging apps, that this is the future. Everything will be a simple text command away. It would be pretty cool if they allowed custom "magic words" to be made.

There was an article about Peach today in the BBC News. It compares its sudden popularity to Ello, so hopefully it doesn't die off as quickly. (The mistakes Ello made to prevent it from getting real use would be easy to prevent). I'm @vacord on Peach if anyone wants to party.
I'm finding the subtle difference in positioning (i.e. it feels like texting friends rather than posting to a social network) is interesting. It's hard to break into this space, but there might be something here. Good luck!

Loving this app so far. And the text shortcuts for status updates are so clever. The main dashboard experience could be improved however.
