Most AI phone tools are built for enterprises — APIs, workflows, sales automation. PollyReach is built for you. Give your AI a real phone number. Say "book me a table for 7pm" — it finds the number, makes the call, handles the conversation, and reports back with a summary, recording & transcript. It also answers your phone 24/7 and screens spam. Works in 50+ languages.

How does Polly handle super noisy backgrounds or bad cell reception on the other end?
PollyReach
@barnaby_lloyd It has strong noise suppression and voice enhancement built-in.
PollyReach
@barnaby_lloyd Actually, based on our real‑world practice, it’s difficult to handle these perfectly at the moment. If we optimize for noisy backgrounds, it becomes harder to capture speech when someone speaks too softly. We are still working on better solutions to balance both scenarios.
Can i teach Polly specific vocabulary? Like industry terms for my business?
PollyReach
@easton_carter Yes
PollyReach
@easton_carter Yes — Polly supports a knowledge base where you can drop in industry terms, product names, FAQs, customer data, etc. It pulls from that during calls so jargon comes out right and answers stay accurate. What industry are you in? Curious to hear the use case.
PollyReach
@marco_pott Totally get it!
PollyReach
@marco_pott Thank you so much! We’re thrilled this resonates with you. Planning vacation bookings ahead of time is exactly one of our core real‑world use cases, and we really appreciate your support.
Is there any issue going currently - it doesn't seem to work, I tried it on an Indian number.
PollyReach
@rsagr Could you please share the call details or the call link so we can check what went wrong with the Indian number?
Quick q — does the AI tell the other person it's an AI, or only if asked?
PollyReach
@pais_chen We keep it natural and low-key by default.
The AI won’t proactively mention it’s an AI on its own. It only gently discloses its identity politely when the other party doubts it or directly asks whether it is a real person. This way conversations flow smoothly naturally without awkwardness.
@pais_chen @ys_zheng this seems to contradict what the other team member responded to another question: “Polly is required to identify itself as an AI on every call (so it can't pose as a person or a relative);”
Can you clarify the exact policy and experience?
is it possible to use our own personal number?
PollyReach
@ashishkingdom Yes it’s possible! We will support binding and using your own personal phone number in our second version soon.
@ys_zheng superr!! :)

The Japan founding story resonates. We work on the companion side of voice AI, daily check-in calls to aging parents, and our hardest problem is the same edge-case handling you describe: older folks talk over the agent, repeat themselves, or drift off-topic, and rigid turn-taking falls apart fast. Two questions: can the answering persona and pacing be tuned per caller (slower and more patient for an elderly relative)? And how do you actually measure "natural interruption" handling, a latency target or something more qualitative? Nice work shipping this.
