Great, thanks @aorbee ! I'm a bit confused though, are these supposed to be sent as solo (dedicated) emails or embedded within the regular newsletter campaign? Asking because I find the wording to be very long (for some ads) to be just an ad within a standard newsletter.

The choice is up to you @hertzel_b ! Majority of our newsletters tend to embed the advert within their regular newsletter blast. However, we have had newsletters in the past dedicating specific emails to the advert. If it helps integration, newsletters have previously augmented the copy text to better fir their newsletter, as long as the primary sentiment remains the same. We're working with advertisers to provide a larger variety of copy text/images to choose from, that will be coming soon! Our advice is to find what works for you. Generally subscribers prefer adverts to be part of the regular newsletter campaign, especially if the advert is seamlessly embedded within the overall theme of the newsletter 😊

I've been using PostApex for a few months now (on the Publisher side of thing) and I think it perfectly solves for a long-standing gap in the newsletter market. There are a few platforms out there that facilitate sponsorship conversations and introductions between advertisers and newsletters — and there are a few more platforms that help newsletters set up a pay-per-conversion campaign with an advertiser. But I love PostApex's pay-per-click approach because it's easy, fast, and profitable to run. We're really good at driving clicks from our newsletter when we have the right product that we know our audience will love — and so when we use PostApex links in our newsletter, we can essentially guarantee that we'll get paid well. (It's then up to the brand to make sure they have a high-converting landing page that people land on after the click. I think it's a fair deal on both sides.) We don't make quite as much money as we do for negotiated ad slots, but it's perfect for when we have a gap between advertisers and need to fill it last minute. Right now our dashboard shows about a dozen advertisers available for us to pick from (and about half of those are fits for our audience). I'm hopeful that PostApex will continue to onboard new advertisers so I can use them even more.

Curious to test this new platform for my newsletter This Week In React As a publisher, I usually prefer fixed-price sponsors, but in the end CPC could also work if the advertisers on the platform are nice, so willing to give it a try. Reporting to advertisers is also an annoying task, so having this automated is interesting for sure!

Advertisers do definitely prefer the performance based aspect of CPC ads vs. the uncertainty of a flat-fee sponsorship. Since our proprietary ad server does all the click tracking natively, we can verify advert clicks and pay commission in real-time!

I’ve been using this service with my newsletter, CSS Animation Weekly, for several months and it’s the best, easiest way I’ve found to get high quality sponsors for each issue. Great support too. I recommend giving them a try.

We're already using PostApex at @waivly and we're absolutely loving it! It's incredibly easy to get set up and going and get to putting ads onto your newsletter. I really appreciate that the choice is yours when it comes to either including ads as part of your regular newsletter content or making dedicated content for the ad. The layout of everything is super simple to follow and it's very plug in and play-style. I highly recommend it to everyone. Great product guys!
