qarunbook helps you write a clear test plan, work through it yourself, with your team or with your AI over MCP, and keep track of what needs fixing or checking again. A fixed issue waits for a retest before it counts as passed. Free plan, no card.

Is there a way to assign specific tests to different team members?
@khaildnaseem Yes. Open any check and assign it to one or more people. They get an email and an in-app notification, and "Assigned to me" on the board shows their list.
You can also make someone the owner of a whole section or platform (say, everything on iOS). They're told whenever checks or bugs are added there, and when a bug there is fixed.
Assigning never locks anyone out: anyone on the team can still test any check. Bugs found along the way can be assigned and prioritised too.
Is the name derived from Quran to qarun? or the inspired from the Islamic hsitorical character qarun (the cousin of moses)?
@foyjul_i Neither, it's "QA runbook" written as one word: QA (quality assurance) plus runbook, the step-by-step guide a team follows. The idea is a book you run your QA from.
Many tools mark things as done too early. Does qarunbook support notes or evidence for each test result?
@mikkellarsen That's the exact problem we built around, so three things:
1. Each check says what success looks like. When your AI drafts the plan with our free /test-checklist skill, every check comes with its preconditions, the steps to take, and the expected result that proves it passed, so "passed" means the same thing to everyone.
2. A fix never counts as a pass. When a bug is marked fixed, its check shows "retest" until someone checks the new build again.
3. Next to "Add issue" under each check, there's now "Add pass note": what you saw working, with screenshots or a screen recording attached. If your AI runs the checks over MCP, it can leave that note too. It stays on the check and shows in the report you share, so a pass comes with proof.
