This is a very useful extension especially for students.
One more feature needed -
"Widget" OR "unique link of my collection"
so I can directly share all code with any person or put a widget on my blog or site so anyone can use them directly.
Right now you can share a specific referral link (email, via twitter or FB) from the dashboard by clicking that program, @keyul. You'll find those share buttons towards the bottom of that program landing page.
We discussed the widget idea. We're picturing code that could be easily copied form that program landing page and placed on your site. It would beautifully display that program and have your referral link attached. Is that what you were thinking?
Appreciate the feedback!
I've seen people pay for Google ad words to get you to sign up for a given service using their referral link, a clever but much more arduous process than this! Some guy named Rob got $20 when I signed up for getaround... Anyway looking forward to trying this out!
Thanks for checking us out, @gillianim. Paid ads is how some guy named Eric Martin promoted his Jet.com referral links. When Walmart bought Jet, he became a millionaire after spending $18k to promote those links. Crazy story.
Yup, this is way less risky and complicated. You can stick as many of your referral links into the system as you'd like and you're done. It's a great little surprise to randomly get an email, "Your friend XXX signed up for YYY"

Awesome idea! Having an issue with an invisible div#rcExtension hovering on all pages that are recognized as having referral programs, also seeing the following in the console:
VM251 extensions::uncaught_exception_handler:8 Error in response to storage.get: TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined
at null.callback (chrome-extension://eomagifihldcabmecgacjbgceomaekll/scripts/content/content.js:248:46)
@mitchlillie Hello I'm Joe and the principal dev behind Referred Club. I very much appreciate your detailed feedback and will be looking into this issue.
One thing I forgot to mention - you can also use Referred Club as a directory.
If you're looking for something like a web host, you can go to our listings page and search for "hosting." It'll show you all hosting companies with referral programs.
In addition to seeing the referral perks associated with each, you'll see who of your friends are using the specific services. Then you can reach out and get feedback from people you trust.
