I'm glad I'm very happy with my health care but I'm gonna check this out for sure! I'll recommend it to my friends who can't afford good health care. Thank you!
I love this so much, both as someone with a disabled family member and mom of two, young children. My background is in healthcare Comm & gov't relations and something I'm so passionate about. Please let me know how I can help.

Excellent Product guys! I just made my first appointment and it went like a breeze. This is going to save lot of time and also can save a life. People are so busy with their work and neglect their health. By having a doctor on standby through the chat is a boon to many ppl like me. Though there some glitches in the app when switching between apps, iam sure these issues will be resolved in the next few releases.

@eriktorenberg Great question. That’s what we’re most excited about.
Currently, the healthcare system is a lot like a ball of yarn mixed with a jenga tower. All components of the system are interdependent in very unclear ways, and nobody wants to be the person to make a change that inadvertently causes the whole system to come tumbling down.
This has lead to the slow pace of innovation healthcare’s known for. It takes years for most hospitals to deploy new software, even after they’ve bought it. There are no good systems for using clinical data to inform treatment and diagnosis, even though modern day analytics could save countless lives. The current system takes about 17 years to adopt AMA approved, data driven guidelines for the best way to provide care.
We plan to expand the core software backbone of Remedy to all different aspects of healthcare: surgery, speciality treatment, radiology, mental healthcare, etc.
By building a healthcare system around a strong software backbone, we’ll be able to rapidly deploy and integrate life saving technology with ease.
We’ll be able to deploy an FDA approved genomic diagnostic to all of our doctors, and simultaneously inform them about which of their patients it could help. Much the same way Tesla can deploy self driving software with the push of a button,
We’ll be able to integrate imaging, genomic, lifestyle, and physician interview data to figure out the most effective way to treat any particular condition.
We’ll be able to surface all relevant medical literature and care guidelines to doctors when they are appropriate, preventing cases like my own in which a doctor mistreats a condition due to having outdated knowledge.
We’ll be able to use data to automatically search for patients who are eligible for clinical trials, rapidly accelerating the process of therapeutic trials for 3rd party vendors.
We’ll let patients easily assemble their own care teams, and reach out to them over Remedy. Nobody will have to wait months just to get a simple question answered.
People in the current healthcare system talk about the idea of doing all of these things, but they simply don’t have the architecture to put any of it into action. Remedy is building that architecture, and leveraging it to bring healthcare into the future.
@ryanmac We're currently building out Remedy for Families! Each family account has a primary account holder (one of the parents). Parents can easily manage the household and interface with their doctors without having to switch accounts. We have doctors that specialize in family medicine, so even if you have a young child, your child can still receive care on Remedy.
Users under the age of 18 would not be able to receive treatment unless with parental consent.
Users under the age of 13 would not be able to receive treatment unless under a family plan.

@jessica_ma thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Alright, so I signed up. Should my wife sign up separately? Or is there a way to add members within Remy?
@ryanmac For now, please have your wife create a separate account. We will let you know as soon as our family plans are available (in the coming weeks!) and you can at that time decide if you would like to merge into a family plan!
