Review Remix?
Reviewers see Remix as a fast, developer-friendly full-stack framework that feels easy to pick up, especially for common tasks, with strong React integration, server-side rendering, and an approach grounded in web standards. Users say it makes building modern web apps more efficient and approachable even for those still learning frontend performance. The main caveat is depth: more complex work like authentication, file storage, and error handling still seems rough around the edges. One founder of Lingo.dev likewise calls it a lightweight, powerful full-stack React framework.

Great framework for newbiews in frontend performance, such as me. Trivial thigs are easy to do. Some more complicated things such as auth, file storage, error messages stil needs work, bu the community is great, many problems already fixed by open source contributors, and more on the way.

We find Remix to be extremely fast. The framework handles a lot of edge cases out of the box, which saves hundreds of development hours. Additionally, Remix leverages web and browser standards to remove a layer of abstraction. For example when you pre-fetch links you use HTML code run in the browser, not having to do in memory cache.

Fast prototyping is remix's biggest strength. It is super easy to get going with the routing and implementing all the SSR loading for the routes. The handling of forms, errors, and loading states also is beautifully easy.
Minimal surface area. Fast build powered by Vite. Flexible per-page rendering so server side for public/marketing pages and full SPA experience for our app.
